Correcting Vector System Balance Issues

Dual sided Vector™ Power Meter Pedals have the ability to measure the balance between the amount of force being applied to each pedal. Under normal conditions the system should report around a 50/50 percentage split +/- 5%. Riding with a compromised leg injury may show a more significant imbalance. If you have a situation where the power balance of your dual sided Vector Power Meter system is dramatically shifted to one side please try some of the following troubleshooting steps to correct the issue: 

• Perform a static zero calibration from the paired head unit.

• Remove and reinstall the battery covers from the pedal pods and re-set the installation angles from the paired head unit.

• Remove the pedals, clean the mating surfaces and re-install the pedals making sure to use a torque wrench tightening to 25-30 lb-ft.
