Smart Notification Categories on Edge Devices
Some Edge devices will feature smart notification categories allowing riders to fine tune the type of notifications that they receive while out on a ride. Those categories include:
Text Messages
Phone Calls
Social Media
This includes notifications from Facebook, Twitter, What'sApp, etc.
Other
This includes E-mail and calendar notifications.
You can adjust each of these categories by following these steps:
NOTE: The Edge device must be connected to a phone paired through the Garmin Connect app for this feature setting to display on the device.
Access the menu of the device.
Select Connected Features.
Select Phone.
Select Smart Notifications.
Choose which categories you want to enable/disable.
