Preparing Your Dog Tracking Handheld
Before you can view the dog list on a watch, the handheld needs to be set up. For your handheld to broadcast dog data to your compatible watch, the handheld and watch must be within 15 feet of each other. Select your dog tracking handheld model below for steps.
NOTE: For best results, ensure any other broadcasting handhelds are powered off.
The Pro 550 Plus uses ANT+ to share dog locations to your compatible outdoor watch and broadcast dog data by default. No other steps are required on the handheld. To start, ensure your handheld is up to date on the latest software.
When a dog tracking device has been paired to the watch, the Dog Tracking glance automatically appears in the widget or glance loop. The widget or glance cannot be added before a dog tracking device is paired. Follow the steps below to add your dog tracking device to your watch:
Access the Settings menu of your watch.
Select Sensors & Accessories or Connectivity > Sensors & Accessories.
Select Add New.
Select DogTrack.
Select the dog tracking handheld and wait for the pairing to complete.
Return to the watch face.
Scroll up or down from the watch face to locate the DogTrack widget or glance.
If the Glance or Widget does not automatically appear after pairing your handheld, you may need to add the Glance or Widget. Refer to your owner's manual and search for "Customizing the Glances List" or "Customizing the Widget Loop" for instructions.
NOTE: To view a dog on the widget, the dog collar needs to be turned on and actively tracking.
