Connecting a GPS to a Nikon Digital Camera

If you own a Nikon digital camera, you are able to connect the two electronic devices using a MC-35 GPS Serial Adapter Cord and PC Interface Cable. The MC-35 cord will connect to the Nikon camera while the PC Interface cable will attach to the GPS. Once both cables are connected to each other, you will be able to receive GPS coordinates of your location on the digital camera.

Connecting the GPS to a digital camera is only possible with the following GPS models handhelds:

  • GPSMAP® 60 series
  • GPSMAP® 76 series
  • GPS 76 & GPS 60
  • GPS 72 series
  • GPSMAP® 78 series

Certain Nikon digital cameras are built with GPS connectivity. Check the compatibility tab on the MC-35 web page.
