nuvi 205 Constantly Rebooting when Connected to the Computer
Some nuvi 205 series devices experienced an issue where they would power cycle repeatedly when connected to a computer while the device was powered off.
To correct this, turn the nuvi on then connect to the computer. The device should go into mass storage mode. From there, update the system software by following the steps outlined in Updating Automotive Maps and Software with Garmin Express.
After updating the device's software, the above issue should no longer occur regardless of whether the device is on or off when connected.
