My Approach Z82 is in the Wrong Language

If your Approach Z82 is set to the wrong language, the below instructions will guide you through selecting the correct language. If the language is incorrect on your first usage, follow the steps for resetting the device.

Changing the Language

  1. Power on the Approach Z82 by pressing Triangle Pointing Down.
  2. Press Triangle Pointing Downtwice.
  3. Press Circle With Horizontal Line Through Center.
  4. Press Triangle Pointing Downeight times.
  5. Press Circle With Horizontal Line Through Centertwice.
  6. Select your desired language.

You have now changed the language of your Approach Z82. 

Resetting the Approach Z82 to Change the Language

If you were unable to change the language on your device using the steps above, you can follow the steps below to perform a factory reset. You will be prompted to select a language after the reset.

  1. Power off the Approach Z82 by holding Triangle Pointing Down.
  2. Press and hold Triangle Pointing Up and Circle With Horizontal Line Through Center.
  3. Press and release Triangle Pointing Down.
  4. When the light turns purple, release Triangle Pointing Up .
  5. When the light turns red, release Circle With Horizontal Line Through Center.

The Approach Z82 will now reset, and a new language can be selected during the initial setup.

NOTE: Any scorecards saved to the device will remain on the Approach after a factory reset.
