How to Locate a Lost Dog Tracking Handheld

There may be times when a dog tracking handheld is lost in the field. Below are some tips to help find a lost dog tracking handheld.

inReach® Enabled Dog Tracking Handheld

The Alpha® 200i and Alpha® 300i dog tracking handhelds are equipped with inReach satellite communication technology. To locate a lost dog tracking handheld that has an active inReach subscription, see - Locating My Lost or Stolen inReach Device

Non-inReach Enabled Dog Tracking Handheld

For dog tracking handhelds that do not have inReach satellite communication enabled, there is no way to remote-locate the handheld. There are two options the user can attempt to use to locate a lost handheld. If the lost handheld was being tracked by another Alpha handheld with Contact Tracking or through the Find My Alpha feature on a compatible Garmin watch with the DogTrack widget, Find My Alpha in the DogTrack Widget.
