Tread Device Shutting Down or Rebooting while Plugged into a Vehicle

Your Garmin Automotive device should not shut down or reboot while plugged into a vehicle. There are four main resolutions to this issue.

  • Make sure your device is plugged directly into your vehicle with its original Garmin power cable.
    • Do not use a splitter, USB, or third-party cable.

    • Ensure the 12 Volt Vehicle Power Cable is securely connected to the Locking Magnet assisted Mount.

    • A replacement 12 Volt Vehicle Power Cable can be purchased if necessary.
