Changing the Weather Widget on an Index S2 from Fahrenheit to Celsius

The Index™ S2 Smart Scale automatically uses the unit of measure selected on back of the scale to display temperature in the Weather widget.  If your scale is set to pounds the weather widget will display temperature in Fahrenheit.  If you would like to change which temperature unit is displayed on the scale you can do the following:

1. Remove the battery cover.

2. Remove one battery.

3. Press and hold the reset button while reinstalling the battery.

   • When the display turns on you will see a diagnostics screen.

4. Press the Reset button 2 times.

   • You will see F | C on the screen.

5. Press and hold the Reset button to change the scale to your preferred temperature units.

6. Set the scale down and allow the display to turn off (will take about 30 seconds).

7. Once the display is off, sharply tap to wake the scale but do not stand on it.

8. Allow the scale to go to sleep once more.

You can now wake and use the scale as normal.  Your preferred temperature units will now display on the Weather widget.
