I See an X Displayed on My Index BPM Smart Blood Pressure Monitor
If you see an X displayed on your Index BPM Smart Blood Pressure Monitor after taking a blood pressure measurement, then you will need to manually update your monitor’s software to resolve this issue. Use the below instructions to update your device.
Remove the Index BPM from the Garmin Connect app.
Open the Garmin Connect App.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the device you want to remove.
Select
(top right).
Select Remove Device.
Confirm you want to remove the device.
Remove the device from your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings.
Reset your Index BPM to default settings. See Resetting the Device for more information.
Remove and re-install the battery cover.
Add the Index BPM back to your account by pairing the device with the Garmin Connect app. See Pairing Your Device with the Garmin Connect App for more information.
Once paired with the Garmin Connect app, your monitor will automatically download any available software updates.
