Benefits of Map Updates on a Garmin Device

Streets and Points of Interest (restaurants, hotels, etc.) are constantly changing. Updating the map software will provide the device with the most current map data that we have available.

Map updates are not mandatory or required for your device to continue operating. You can still continue to use the device with a previous version of the map software installed.

For Instructions to Update your Device's Maps and Software:

1. Go to the Garmin Support Center link: HELP STARTS HERE
2. Enter your device product name
3. Click on the Software tab on the left panel under your product name
