How Do I Change the Activity Tracking Goals on My Garmin Watch?
Activity tracking goals which include daily steps, daily floors climbed, and weekly intensity minutes, can be modified from your Garmin Connect™ account, (certain models will not have certain features, see your owner's manual to verify compatibility).
For daily steps, the Auto Goal feature is enabled (by default) and allows trends to automatically modify that specific goal when you sync. Select your preferred platform below on how to change your activity tracking goals.
NOTE: If you enable the Auto Average or Auto Goal feature for Daily Steps, it may take several days for your steps goal to change from the last value. This is because Connect takes into account several recent days' steps counts to calculate an appropriate goal automatically.
