Replacing the Battery on a Garmin Approach CT10
There are times the Garmin Approach® CT10 golf sensor battery needs to be replaced. See the guidelines below demonstrating how to replace the battery.
Changing the Battery of the Approach CT10 Golf Sensor
For this process, it is recommended to leave the sensor attached to the golf club. It may require a high amount of torque to remove the battery cap and we recommend using the Battery Cap Tool.
With one hand, firmly grip the white mount of the sensor.
With the other hand insert the cap removal tool, twist the black sensor cap counter-clockwise until it can be removed.
Remove the battery from the black sensor cap.
Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery.
NOTE: Ensure the + icon is face up and pointing away from the sensor cap.
Place black sensor cap back on the white mount and twist with the tool clockwise until it locks.
Checking the Approach CT10 Battery Level
While your device will notify you when the battery is low or critical, the battery life can be checked at anytime. Select your device below and follow the steps outlined.
