How do I Update my Maps and Are the Maps on My Automotive Device Up-to-Date?

Current Map Version: 2026.10 (North America) as of February 12, 2025.

The Garmin Express™ program will check your device for current and new map versions. See How Do I Install Garmin Express Software? to get started.  Map updates are released at least once per year.

Note: See Confirming the Map Region on an Automotive Device to check the version of mapping currently loaded.

You Will See One of Three Options After your Device has Been Added to the Program:

• An update will be available.

• You will be informed that your maps are current.

• You will be given an option to purchase an update.
