No Spot Sounding on the nuvi 500 Series

Spot soundings show the depth of the water on a chart and are available with the addition of a Garmin G2 Vision card.

In early software versions, spot soundings did not show up on the nuvi 500 series devices when using a Garmin G2 Vision card. A software update to address the missing spot soundings was released.

Note: The nuvi 500 series are not compatible with all the features offered on a G2 Vision data card such as aerial photographs and auto guidance.
