Garmin Express Still Shows an Update Available After a Wi-Fi Update

Devices that are capable of being updated via Wi-Fi can still be added to the Garmin Express program and updated through the computer.

If a device has been updated via Wi-Fi, Garmin Express may still report that an update is available until the device is plugged into the computer with a USB cable and connected to Garmin Express. This will sync Garmin Express with the device, and it should now show that the device is up to date.
