Pairing or Connecting to the Garmin Canine App

In order to operate the Delta InBounds™ for remote training, the device will need to be connected to a compatible smartphone. These devices will only pair with mobile devices that support Bluetooth Smart (BLE) wireless technology. The mobile device will also need to have a data connection via Wi-Fi or cellular network with a data plan. For more information on BLE and compatibility please click here*. To pair one of these devices with the Garmin Canine™ mobile application, please follow the steps below.

To pair a collar:

  1. Download Garmin Canine
  2. Open the Garmin Canine app on your smartphone

The Garmin Canine app will now guide you through the setup process and pairing your first collar.

To pair additional collars:

  1. Touch 
  2. Touch My Family
  3. Touch Add a Dog
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts

The collar will now be paired to your smartphone and able to utilize the Bluetooth connected features.

NOTE: If changes have been made in the app, you will need to go to the Base unit and select the dog to sync or fetch the changes.  

NOTE: Effective September 1,2022, the Garmin Canine app is no longer available to download from the play stores for either Android or Apple.
