What Types of Plans Are Available in Garmin Coach?
Garmin Coach offers a variety of adaptive and prebuilt plans for running, cycling and strength training. What plans are available will depend on what sport you are training for and what Garmin® device you have paired with your Garmin Connect™ account. Below is a list of the type of Garmin Coach plans available.
Garmin Run Coach

Expert Garmin Coach Plans
You can also choose from three experienced running coaches to guide you on your journey: Olympian and best-selling author Jeff Galloway, physiologist and online running coach Greg McMillan or physical therapist and running expert Amy Parkerson-Mitchell. Garmin Cycling Coach

Garmin Strength Coach
You’ll receive different plan recommendations based on your goals, the muscles you want to work, the equipment you have available and more. Once you choose a plan and start training, you can view all the details of the plan in Garmin Connect. Self-Guided Plans
In Garmin Connect you can choose a basic plan for your event based on your skill level. These pre-built plans offer running and multisport training options for beginner, intermediate, or advanced athletes. These plans can be set up and accessed on the Garmin Connect website.
