"The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" Message

The message "The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" may appear on a device capable of multiple-stop routing.

This message should only appear when a route was created in a mapping program (e.g., BaseCamp) then transferred to a device using a different mapping version than what was used in the program.

First, check which mapping version is installed to the device.

To See Which Map Version is Installed:

  1. Open the device's Settings menu 
  2. Touch Navigation
  3. Touch Map & Vehicle
  4. Touch myMaps

Then, when using BaseCamp (Windows), a drop-down menu will appear near the top of the window whenever more than one mapping product is installed to the computer.


To Confirm the Installed Map When Using BaseCamp:

  1. Open BaseCamp
  2. Click Maps
  3. Select the relevant map set

Once the route has been created with the same mapping version, the message will no longer appear.
