Built-in Map button Missing After Updating GPSMAP Software and Built-in Combination Charts

The "Built-in Map" button on a GPSMAP device is no longer needed after updating Built-in Combination Charts and device software. 

It is no longer necessary to switch between BlueChart and LakeVü to view chart detail. Depending on the type of boating, it is now possible to change between the "Navigation Chart" and the "Fishing Chart."

To switch between "Navigation Chart" and "Fishing Chart" from the Home screen, select Charts then select Navigation Chart or Fishing Chart.

  • Navigation Chart - best for general navigation

  • Fishing Chart - best for fishing, intended to show more bottom detail and content, such as HD contours and fishing tips
