Dog Tracking Collar Shows "Not Tracking" on Handheld

When a dog tracking collar is paired to a handheld device, it is possible to pause or disable tracking. If tracking is stopped like this, it will have to be turned back on through the handheld settings before the dog's location will properly display on the Map or Compass pages.

If tracking has been stopped, a "Not Tracking" message will appear on the Dog Info page as seen in the steps below.

Enable Tracking

Select on your handheld model below

Astro® 220 or Astro® 320 Handhelds

  1. Select Dog List from the main menu
  2. Select the Dog you want to enable/disable tracking for
  3. Select Show Info
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Start Tracking

The collar location should now display properly on the Astro 220 or 320 handhelds.

Astro® 430 or Astro® 900 Handhelds

  1. Select Dog List from the main menu
  2. Select the Dog you want to enable/disable tracking for
  3. Select Show Info
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Start Tracking

The collar location should now display properly on the Astro 430 or Astro 900 handhelds.

Alpha® 100 Handheld

  1. Tap Dog List from the main menu
  2. Tap the Dog you want to enable/disable tracking for
  3. Tap Show Info
  4. Tap Menu
  5. Tap Start Tracking

The collar location should now display properly on the Alpha 100 handheld.

Alpha® 200, Alpha® 200i, Alpha® 200 Plus, Alpha® 300, or Alpha® 300i Handhelds

  1. Tap Dog List from the main menu
  2. Tap the Dog you want to Activate/Deactivate tracking for
  3. Tap the Active slider
