Getting Started With the inReach Mini 2

If you are setting up an inReach® Mini 2 satellite communication device for the first time, the following steps will walk you through the process to help you get the most out of your new Garmin product.

Setting up the inReach Mini 2

When powering on the Garmin device for the first time, you will be prompted to configure some settings and activate with an inReach subscription.

1. Power on by holding on top.

   POWER

   • Press and hold to turn the device on.

   • While powered on, quickly press to open the Power menu.

   • Press and hold to turn the device off.

   UP

   • Press to scroll through menus, pages, and settings.

   DOWN

   • Press to scroll through menus, pages, and settings.

   OK

   • Press to choose an option or to acknowledge a message.

   • From the home page, press to open the main menu.

   • Press to open the options menu for the page that is currently open (if available).

   CANCEL/RETURN

   • Press to cancel or return to the previous page.

   SOS

   • Initiate or cancel an SOS request.

2. Choose your language by scrolling through the list using and buttons, press OK to select a language.

3. Activate your inReach Mini 2 device with an inReach Satellite Subscription.

4. Sync and update your inReach Mini 2 with the Garmin Explore™ app and Garmin Express™ software.
