Routes Created in BaseCamp™ Appear Different on a Marine Handheld
BaseCamp™ can be used to create routes that can then be loaded to outdoor devices. If certain parameters are set differently on the device than in BaseCamp™, the route may recalculate using the device parameters.
To reduce changes in routes, confirm the following:

Route is created in BaseCamp™ using the same map that is loaded to the device
Routing activity profile in BaseCamp™ matches that on the device. Update the handheld to insure all profiles are up to date. Some devices do not support profiles found in BaseCamp™.
Avoidances on device match avoidances set in BaseCamp™.
Set "Off Route Recalculation" to "Prompted". To do this, complete the following steps:
Select Setup
Select Routing
Select Off Route Recalculation
Select Prompted
Utilizing the above suggestions will help reduce changes made to routes when loaded to the device.
