GPS Speed and Location Data Overlay on a Garmin Dash Cam

The Garmin Dash Cam™ Mini 3, Garmin Dash Cam™ 2 and Garmin Dash Cam™ Mini driving recorders are compatible with receiving GPS position and speed data. GPS position and speed data can be displayed in other countries.

NOTE: The Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2, and Garmin Dash Cam Mini cannot record position and speed data on their own, however they can when they are connected to the Garmin Drive app along with one of the following devices to receive GPS data.

Once a Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2, or Garmin Dash Cam Mini, and one of the Dash Cams listed above are connected to the Garmin Drive app, the speed and location overlay will be enabled on each Dash Cam. See Customizing Data Overlay in the Garmin Drive App to adjust the type of data displayed on videos and pictures.
