Maximum Number of Remotes Which Can be Used with the Meteor 300

The Meteor 300 Remote can be installed anywhere on the boat to allow control of the Meteor without the need for a Garmin device to be connected.

While there is not a maximum number of remotes that can be used with the Meteor 300, Garmin recommends no more than three per network. If more than three remotes are being used please be aware that any limitations are due to DC voltage drop across the NMEA 2000 network and not the Meteor Remotes themselves. Please refer to Garmin's Technical Reference Guide for NMEA 2000 Products for information regarding voltage drop calculations and correctly balancing power on the network.
