How to Create a flyGarmin Account

This video provides an introduction to the features and functions of the flyGarmin website.

To Get Started:

1. Go to fly.Garmin.com.
2. Select at the top right of the web page, and Sign In to your existing account (or Create One).

   • A new window will open for the Sign In.

3. Select Devices in the top banner.
4. Select the button Add Aircraft on the top right of the web page. This will take you to a 3 part process to enter your aircraft and Garmin devices.
5. Enter the aircraft information in the appropriate fields.  Note that only those fields labeled with a "*" are obligatory. Once finished, click on the black CONTINUE button located on the bottom right of the screen.

6. Add the devices installed in your aircraft on this page. You can reduce the list of selectable avionics by typing in the first 3 letters of the device identifier. For example, if you would like to add a GTN™ 650 Xi touchscreen avionics to your account, type in "GTN" in the search field marked with a blue box below. When you find your device, click on the ADD button.

7. Enter the System ID of the device in the Display System ID field. Once finished, press the black button, FINISH EDITING DEVICE.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for each Garmin devices that requires a database. Once you are finished, in the upper right part of the web page, press the CONTINUE TO NEXT STEP button.
9. Use this page to enter any aircraft connectivity devices if any are installed in your aircraft. Once you are finished entering your installed connectivity devices, or if you do not have any in your aircraft, click on the FINISH EDITING AIRCRAFT button.

10. A message will appear, stating that the avionics has been successfully installed in your aircraft. Press the button GO TO AIRCRAFT DETAILS to return to the aircraft details page.
11. You can redeem your database coupon code, if one was provided. 
12. Select your device.
13. Select Redeem a Coupon.

14. The coupon will allow you to select a specific region for each database.

15. Select Redeem Coupon at the bottom of the page once all the selections have been made.
