Button Functions on the eTrex Legend H and Vista H

NOTE: The eTrex Legend® H outdoor handheld is pictured above, but the button layout and button functions are the same on the eTrex Vista® H handheld.

UP

• Zoom out on the Map page.
  
• From any other page, press to scroll up a list or move highlighted slider.

DOWN

• Zoom in on the Map page.
  
• From any other page, press to scroll down a list or move highlighted slider.
  

MENU/FIND

• Press and hold to access the Find menu.
• Press to view the Options Menu for the current page.
  

QUIT/PAGE

• Press to cycle through main pages.
• Allows you to exit/quit a function.
• Press and hold to turn the compass on or off (Vista H only).

POWER

• Press and hold to turn the unit on/off.
• Press and release for backlighting or to view time, date, and battery capacity.

THUMB STICK

• Press in to enter highlighted options or confirm messages.
• Move up/down or right/left to move through lists, highlighted fields, on-screen buttons, icons, enter data, or move the map panning arrow.
• Press in and hold for two seconds to mark your current location as a waypoint.
