Verifying a Red Light and Speed Camera or Dangerous Zones Subscription Was Successfully Downloaded to an Automotive Device

Cyclops Red Light and Speed Camera or Dangerous Zones (France only) information will be available on your device once you have successfully downloaded the database to your device. You may purchase a Red Light and Speed Camera subscription or Dangerous Zones subscription using Garmin Express™ application. To View the Database Information on Your Automotive Device:

NOTE: Steps below are accurate for your device however, images may differ.

1. Touch Settings 

2. Scroll down and touch Device

3. Touch About

4. Touch Extras and Red Light Camera

The database information should be listed, showing the copyright and the date that the camera database was last updated. This means that the information has been successfully added to your device.

To Enable or Disable Red Light and Speed Camera or Dangerous Zone Alerts on Your Automotive Device:

1. Touch Settings

2. Touch Driver Assistance

3. Touch Proximity Alerts

4. Touch Alerts

5. Check or uncheck the box next to Garmin Red Light Cameras

6. Touch Save

The proximity alerts will now be either enabled or disabled.

NOTE: Although the alerts are titled "Garmin Red Light and Speed Cameras," this may be referring to a Dangerous Zones subscription (France only) that is installed to the device, even though the Dangerous Zones subscription does not include safety camera locations.
