Cutting a Radar's network cable to run it through tubing

The network cable is designed to have the end removed allowing the cable to be run through tubing on the boat. This is what the extra marine network cable connector that is included with the radar is for.

DO NOT cut the power cable portion of the cable. When reattaching the network connector to the cable, look at the connector on the other end and compare it to the wiring diagram for the side A and the side B connections in your Marine Ethernet Installation Instructions. The end that is cut off will need to be the opposite of the one still attached. So, if the attached end is wired as side A, the other end of the cable needs to be wired as side B.
