Using the Music Player App on the zūmo XT2

The zūmo® XT2 GPS Navigator offers a variety of options for accessing music or other audio you'd like to hear as you ride.


Accessing the Media Player

2. Touch Media Player

 

You will now be able to use the Music Player.


Changing the Media Source

You can change the media source on your device to MP3 or Bluetooth.

3. Touch Source

4. Select a media source

 

5. Touch Save

 


Browse

Browse can only be used for MP3 files stored on the zūmo XT2 or memory card.

1. Touch Browse

2. Select the category you wish to browse

  • Allows you to browse through all available songs by All Songs, Album, Artist, Genre, and Playlist when that information is available.

 


Creating a Playlist

A playlist can be created using MP3 files stored on either an SD card or the internal storage of the zūmo XT2.

1. Touch Apps 

2. Touch Music Player 

3. Touch Browse 

 

4. Touch Playlist

 

5. Touch New Playlist 

 

6. Name the Playlist

 

7. Touch Done 

8. Select the songs you want for the playlist

  • Select All Songs, Albums, Artist, or the Genres category first before selecting the songs.

 

9. Touch Save


MP3 Player

  • Connection type: no connection required to access MP3s.

    • Plays MP3 files loaded directly to the zūmo XT2 and/or the SD card when using this audio option.

    • The Music Player map tool displays the current song title.

  • The shuffle button displays on the left, and the repeat button on the right.

 


Bluetooth Audio

  • Connection type: Bluetooth connection.

    • Plays any audio transmitted by the paired device.

  • Although you can play, pause, and skip forward/backward, this audio source does NOT allow you to browse the audio on your paired device.

    • Selecting a specific song or audio file must be done on the paired device.
