Replacing the lens on a VIRB or VIRB Elite

VIRB action cameras are made for action. Eventually, that action may produce scratches, which can cause the lens that comes with the VIRB to be unusable. VIRB Lens kit provides the tools and parts needed to replace your VIRB lens to keep your adventures going. This kit contains glass cover lens, bezel, gasket, 4 screws and a Torx tool. 

Garmin no longer carries or sells the VIRB Lens kit.  You may be able to find it online by searching for part number: 010-11921-03

To replace the lens on your VIRB:

1. Remove and retain screws (4) using Torx tool
2. Remove and retain lens plate (3)
3. Remove and retain lens (6)
4. Reseat new lens
5. Ensure gasket (5) is still in place
6. Ensure there are no marks or dust on the lens
7. Replace lens plate
8. Replace screws
9. Inspect VIRB to confirm proper installation
