How to Change the Point of Interest Categories/Icons Shown on the Up Ahead Map Tool

The Up Ahead icons can be changed on your device, allowing you to customize the items shown to best suit your navigational needs.

Up Ahead information is limited to between 250 - 300 miles for the dēzl™ LGV and dēzl™ OTR GPS navigators.

To Customize the Up Ahead Map Tool:

1. Touch View Map - (Touch Drive on the Overlander® device)

2. Touch one of the following menu buttons in the bottom-right corner:

3. Touch Up Ahead

4. Touch one of the Up Ahead icons or names

5. Touch the wrench icon or a menu icon in the upper left. You may need to ensure the device is showing the List View first by selecting the top tab on the right.

6. Touch the item you wish to change

7. Touch the green plus sign next to the desired option

• • Select Custom Search to choose a specific Point of Interest (POI) to display.

  • Select an icon for the Custom Search POI if prompted.

8. Touch Save

The Up Ahead tool will now display the customized list.
