How to Change the Languages on the Alpha XL

To change the language on the Alpha® XL dog tracking and navigation device follow the steps below. There are three language settings you can change - Voice Language, Text Language, and Keyboard Language.

Changing Language Settings on the Alpha XL Dog Tracking and Navigation Device

1. From the main screen, tap the Settings icon (gear) in the lower right corner
2. From the All Settings page, scroll down and select System
3. Select the language setting you want to change
   • For Voice Language scroll down as necessary to select the language and voice (some languages have multiple voices available), then select Save
   • For Text Language scroll down as necessary to select the language, then select Save
   • For Keyboard Language scroll down as necessary to select the language and keyboard layout, then select Save
