Using the Range Rings Feature

The range rings feature will allow you to visualize distance to objects on the map. The feature provides a series of circles around your current location. The overall appearance on the map screen will change based on zoom level. 

Note: Range rings will display on top-down map views only. The view options include North Up, and Track Up. 

• When set to North Up, the map on a device will display North at the top of the screen at all times.  
• If set to Track Up, the direction in which you're traveling will remain at the top of the screen. Track Up will also include a compass icon on the map view.

To Enable or Disable the Range Rings Feature on the Device: 

1. Touch Apps

2. Touch Tools

3. Touch Settings

2. Touch Map Display 

3. Enable or disable the Range Rings option.

• • If the toggle icon is green  the option is enabled.
  • If the toggle icon is grey  the option is disabled.
