Calibrating the Approach S3, S4, S5, or S6 touchscreen
The touchscreen of the Approach S3, S4, S5, and S6 directly interacts with buttons and items shown on the screen. If touches are not being accepted or are activating the wrong item, the watch's screen may need to be calibrated. Calibrating the Approach will fine tune the input it receives from the touchscreen.
To calibrate the Approach S3, S4, S5, or S6:
- Press and hold POWER/LIGHT to shut down watch
- When prompted to shut down the device, Touch Yes
- Press and hold MEASURE and POWER/LIGHT until device powers on
- Release POWER/LIGHT and continue to hold MEASURE when Software Loader message appears
- Release MEASURE once Touch the dot message appears
Once the calibration screen is present, complete the calibration process by touching the dot with a stylus or other sufficiently accurate tool that will not scratch the surface as it moves around the screen. It can be difficult to complete the screen calibration process by using your finger. After the calibration is successful, the watch will return to the time display.
