My Montana 700 Series is in the Wrong Language
If your Montana® 700 series outdoor handheld is set to the wrong language and you need to change it, the below instructions will guide you through selecting the correct language. If the language is incorrect on your first usage of the handheld or you are unable to change the language using the steps below, see Related for steps to reset the handheld. You will be prompted to select a language after the reset, during initial setup.
Changing the Language
- If necessary, tap

until you reach the home screen. - Tap
to open the main menu. - Tap

. - Tap the second item in the menu.
- On the next screen, tap the first item in the menu.
- Tap the desired language.
Handhelds With inReach
You may receive a prompt to activate before being able to access other settings on the Montana 700i or 750i. If this occurs, select the option at the bottom of the screen to skip activation, then proceed with the steps above. Activation can be completed later from the main menu.
