Clearing up Noise While Using a LiveScope™ System
For noise mitigation while using LiveScope™ live scanning sonar, the default settings should be adequate in most situations and settings. However, there's two settings that can be adjusted below:
The Noise Reject setting being set to medium should get rid of most of the noise, reduce shadows generated from strong returns and not affect things that aren't noise.
The TVG (Time Variable Gain) setting can be used as well if the bright transmit beams (sunburst effect) are too distracting.
