How to Enable the USB Port on the GI 275 for Database Updates

When using the USB dongle or the GSB 15 to update the databases on your GI 275, the USB must be enabled within the settings of the GI 275.

To Enable the USB port

1. Before powering on the avionics, insert the USB drive into the dongle or the GSB™ 15 high-speed USB charging hub for aircraft.
2. Navigate to the Menu
3. Go to System.
4. Select USB.
5. Select Enable USB.

After the USB has been enabled, then the databases can be loaded.

1. Navigate to System.
2. Select Databases.
3. Select Update.
4. Select USB.
5. Start the database update.
