Issues playing back text message using Voice Command on a nuvi 3490LMT or 3590LMT
The voice command menu will only allow you to read newly received text messages which are still unread. If there are no new, unread text messages, the "Play New Message" item will be greyed-out and the nuvi will not respond if you speak that command.
To access old text messages and have the nuvi read them:
- Touch Phone on the main menu
- Touch Text Message
- Touch the contact the desired text message came from
- Touch the desired text message
