My Trainer’s Name is Incorrect in the Tacx Utility App

The Tacx Utility app is able to update your Tacx Smart trainer’s software. If the software update does not complete correctly, it is possible that the name on your trainer will display incorrectly. You may see the trainer’s name display as DfuNrf. If you see this, you can resend the software update to the trainer.
To use the Tacx Utility app to update your trainer, connect the trainer to the app and then do the following:
Touch
Touch Update
Touch Check for update
Touch Update
To complete the update, your phone and trainer will need to be connected while the update is sent from your phone to the trainer. Keep the phone active and in range of your trainer until the update is complete.
