Correcting the Message "Sonar Lid Opened Transmission Disabled"

The GSD™ 26 or GSD™ 28 require the terminal block lid to be securely fastened to the sounder box before it will transmit. If the terminal block lid is not in place, the connected chartplotter will display the error message "Sonar lid opened. Transmission disabled."

If this message appears, the terminal block lid must be screwed back into place on the sonar module. After this is completed, the GSD 26 or GSD 28 must be power cycled to resume transmission. To do this, turn off the connected chartplotter and choose Yes if it asks to shut off the entire network. Once the chartplotter has been turned back on, the GSD 26 or GSD 28 will power up in normal operation mode.
