How Do I Register My Garmin Fitness Device?

Registration of your device is completed once you have added it to the Garmin Connect app on your phone or Garmin Express on a personal computer. Once this step has been completed you will receive an email confirmation sent to the email address that you used to sign in to either app.

To avoid the confirmation email from missing your inbox add garmin@inside.garmin.com to your trusted addresses.

NOTE: Devices which do not pair to the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express (such as some heart rate monitors or the Cadence Sensor 2) cannot be registered, so keep your proof of purchase in case you need warranty service on the device.
