How Does the Auto Sync Feature Work on the vivofit 3 and 4?
The Garmin Connect™ app features a setting called Auto Sync for the vívofit® 3 and vívofit® 4 watches which determines the frequency of sync attempts between your vívofit and phone.
Limited: Once or twice a day
Occasional: Numerous attempts throughout the day
Frequent: Several attempts each day
Syncing more frequently keeps Garmin Connect up to date but will reduce battery life on the vívofit device.
Steps To Access and Change This Setting
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select your vívofit.
Select Device Settings.
Select System.
Under AUTO SYNC choose your setting option.
NOTE: The vivofit device will need to be in Bluetooth® range in order to successfully sync.
