Using the Ski Mode Auto Pause Setting

The Ski Mode feature allows users to change the way the device pauses tracking. Enabling this feature allows the device pause tracking when stopped or when ascending, such as when on a ski lift. The Ski Mode should not trigger when on gentle climbs that may be encountered on a downhill ski.

Enabling Ski Mode

Press the Action¹ key
Select Setup
Select Tracks
Select Auto Pause
Select Ski Mode

Once this feature has been enabled and the device is being used for tracking or navigating, the device will pause tracking during stops or ascents. This feature can also be automatically enabled by changing the profile of the watch to Ski-Snowboard.

Changing the profile on the watch

Press the Action¹ key
Select Profiles
Select Ski-Snowboard

Once this profile is being use the Ski Mode will automatically be set under Auto Pause.
