Using Cortex® Data Over WiFi for Third Party Apps and Programs
Software Settings for Various Apps and Navigation software

The connection info needed is:
Connection Type = TCP
IP Address = 10.1.1.1
Port = 39150
OpenCPN Configuration
Connect the computer to the AIS via Wi-Fi
Configure openCPN using the "wrench tool" and then click on the Connections tab
Click on Add Connection
Type=Network
Protocol=TCP
Address=10.1.1.1
DataPort=39150
Click OK
iNavX Configuration
On the device, go to the device home screen:
Select Settings
Select Wi-Fi
Set Wi-Fi to ON
Select the Cortex’s Wi-Fi network
Enter the Cortex’s Wi-Fi password
Exit Settings
After Launching iNavX:
Select TCP/IP NMEA Client on the iNavX Preferences menu
Enter the Host = 10.1.1.1
Enter Port = 39150
Select = TCP
Set Location Services to OFF
Enable Link
Select Save button
Navionics Configuration
Begin by ensuring the application is connected to the Cortex Wi-Fi
In the Boating app, go to Menu
Connect a Device
Add Device, and enter:
Connection type = TCP
IP Address = 10.1.1.1
Port = 39150
Switch on the AIS Targets layer under Advanced Map Options
Note: It might be required to switch off Mobile Data on some Android devices to make NMEA data provided over Wi-Fi visible in Navionics.
iSailor Configuration
Note: An in-app purchase is required to add AIS overlay.
On a mobile device go to Settings and connect to the Cortex’s Wi-Fi network
Set the Auto-Join option to ON
On iSailor, go to the Settings menu
Once the AIS option is unlocked (purchase required), switch on AIS enabled
Select Add source
Enter:
Protocol = TCP
Address = 10.1.1.1
Port = 39150
TimeZero Configuration [PC based]
Connect the computer to the Cortex HUB (either direct connection or via boat network)
On TimeZero, go to the Menu page
Select Configuration Wizard
Select Manual Port configuration to manually add / configure an instrument or connection, then press Next once done
Select Add/Configure TCP connection (advanced), then press Next once done
Enter:
Distant IP Address: 10.1.1.1
Distant IP Port: 39150
Once NMEA messages appear in the box, press Next
Select the NMEA Data to present in TimeZero by checking the boxes, then press Next once done
Press Next
Press Finish
