Pairing the Camera: The camera transmitter must be paired and actively connected to a compatible navigation device to display an image.
Detailed instructions can be found in the owner's manual.
Reboot the automotive device if it disconnects or shows a blank image after pairing.
Unpair the Camera: You may need to start fresh from the beginning of the pairing process if the camera isn't staying paired.
Click on your device below for instructions to unpair the camera:
If the BC™ 35 Wireless Backup Camera is installed to display on the navigation device when the vehicle is put into reverse and is not displaying when the engine is running, turn off the engine but leave the ignition on and put the vehicle in reverse. If the BC 35 works, the vehicle may require a relay.
Garmin recommends having the relay professionally installed
If the vehicle is a truck and has a seven-pin trailer wiring harness, the BC™ 35 Wireless Backup Camera may be wired through the harness
The BC™ 35 Wireless Backup Camera may also be wired to a constant 12V power supply
If the BC™ 35 Wireless Backup Camera is installed to display on the navigation device when the vehicle is put into reverse, but the image display is delayed:
Mount the transmitter closer to the navigation device.
Ensure the navigation device is attached to the compatible mount and mounting bracket.
Ensure the navigation device is attached with the correct compatible vehicle power cable.
