Pairing Alpha LTE Collar

If you have not previously paired your Alpha® LTE collar to your phone, after the system is fully charged you will need to add the collar to a compatible smartphone and activate it to be tracked.

NOTE: To use certain features of this device, it requires an active LTE subscription for the device and must be within an LTE network coverage area. Purchase of an LTE subscription does not guarantee that LTE coverage will be available where the device is used.

Pairing to Your Phone and Activating the Dog Collar Device

Turn on the Alpha LTE collar.
Bring your compatible phone within 33 ft. (10 m) of your dog collar device.
From the app store on your phone, download and open the Garmin Alpha app.
On the dog collar device, press the power button until the status LED turns blue indicating the dog collar device entered pairing mode.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to activate the LTE service.

After the phone and Alpha LTE collar are paired they connect automatically when they are turned on and within Bluetooth range.

NOTE: If you encounter issues during the pairing process it may be helpful to power your phone off and back on again and start with other programs off or reset.
