Collections Manager on the GPSMAP 66/67/86
The Collections Manager allows you to select which Collections are active on your GPSMAP® 66, 67, or 86 outdoor handheld when synced with the Garmin Explore™ app. This helps to organize what user data is visible on your device.
The Collections Manager was added in a recent software update for the GPSMAP 66/86 handhelds. If you do not see the Collections Manager icon in your main menu, you will need to add it with these instructions:
Adding the Collections Manager to the Main Menu
Power on your GPSMAP 66/67/86 handheld.
Go to the Main Menu.
Press MENU.
Press ENTER on Change Item Order.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Add Page.
Select Applications.
Select Collections Manager.
Accessing and Using the Collections Manager
Press the MENU button twice to reach the Main Menu.
Select Collections Manager.
The Collections that have been synced to the GPSMAP 66/67/86 handheld will display with additional information and options.
Number of waypoints, tracks, routes, activities, and courses are listed for each Collection.
If it says No Collections found your handheld needs to be paired and sync with the Garmin Explore app. For steps, see Related.
To enable or disable an individual Collection, select the toggle for it:
: Collection is enabled and the user data is listed and usable on the handheld.
: Collections is disabled and the user data is hidden on the handheld.
To enable or disable all Collections, press the MENU button and Enable All or Disable All.
Enabling or Disabling a Collection
When you enable or disable a collection(s), the data contained within it will either be available, or not available, within its respective menu:
Tracks under Saved Tracks
Waypoints under Waypoint Manager
Routes under Routes Planner
Activities under Recorded Activities
Courses under Course Planner
NOTE: If your syncing settings are set to Sync Everything in the Garmin Explore website or app, the Library cannot be disabled in the Collections Manager on the device. Data that is in a collection will still be visible even with the collection disabled in the Collections Manager. For steps on adjusting syncing settings, see - Setting a Primary Collection With the Garmin Explore Website or App.
