Free Flight Tracker Help
Entering email addresses and phone numbers for text messaging:
- Email addresses and phone numbers are automatically stored in FltPlan®.com Flight planning services after the first time they are entered. You can store four free email addresses or text messaging addresses and select or unselect them for notifications.
- We will notify you if you have entered an incorrect email address. FltPlan.com will receive an error message and then unselect the incorrect address in your account for future notifications, so check your entries.
- Do not put more than one e-mail address or phone number on one line.
- For text messaging, you will need to add the appropriate extension for your service provider to the end of your cell phone number.
Cell Phone Provider TEXT Address Extension AT&T @txt.att.net Boost Mobile @myboostmobile.com Cingular @mobile.mycingular.com Cricket Wireless @mms.cricketwireless.net Mint Mobile @mailmymobile.net Nextel @messaging.nextel.com T-Mobile @tmomail.com
@tmomail.net (if @tmomail.com doesn't work)Verizon @vzwpix.com (best choice)
@vtext.com (alternate)Visible @vtext.com
Minimizing the Notifications Message
- If you want to minimize the length of your text messages, put a MINUS (-) sign in front of the e-mail address or text message address. This will still give you the 4 letter airport ID but will remove the city name and state from your e-mail notifications.
- Example of MINUS sign format: "-Pilot@gmail.com".
