Sharing routes/trips from a zumo with other zumo users

You can use an SD memory card share a route/trip you have created with another zumo user two ways. You can share it from a track log or from a previously created route.

To share a route from a track log on your zumo:

1. Insert an SD card in the zumo
2. Power on the zumo
3. Touch Tools
4. Touch User Data
5. Touch Manage Trip Log
6. Touch Save As Route
7. Touch the segment of the track you want to convert to a route
8. Touch Share once the route has been calculated
9. Touch the route(s) you would like to share
10. Touch Export at the bottom of the screen

The route should now be exported to the SD card.

To share a previously created route:

1. Insert an SD card into the zumo
2. Power on the zumo
3. Touch Where to?
4. Touch Routes
5. Touch the route you would like to share
6. Touch Share
7. Touch the route(s) you would like to share
8. Touch Export at the bottom of the screen

The route should now be exported to the SD card.

If you give your SD card to another zumo user, they should be prompted to import the route whenever they power the unit on with the SD card in the SD card slot. If a prompt is not received, the route can be imported manually.

To import a route manually:

1. Touch Where To?
2. Touch User Data
3. Touch Import Data
4. Touch Routes
   
   • Skip this step on some devices
5. Select the desired route(s) by touching them
6. Touch Import

The route should now appear in the Routes or Custom Routes menu.
